After the elections ended all the
times, I always have a dilemma. There will be both sides accused each other for
various reasons. Whether one’s expectations can be fulfilled or not. In
Malaysia, these expectations are too remote to be achieved.
Why??
Here, if one has concluded then
it’s very difficult to change. That is the Malaysia’s paradigm. No one until now
had ever changed anything in Malaysia for the benefit of the people as the
unabridged.
Malaysians are very unique
society. Because of the composition of multi races and religions, it is easier
for the people who walk on the corridor of power to divide and rule the society
with their affluence.
After more than 57 years we still
refused to learn our fundamental rights as Malaysians. We still live in the
height of imperialism era. Our minds are still been colonized by our Masters.
Our minds are programmed and tuned
in accordance with the specific instructions set by our colonial masters.
Will Malaysia ever change in
future for its furtherance?
I have a serious doubt on it.
Why, again??
If you do not know your basic
rights and the functions of the democracy, then what is the point that you
wanted the change?
Even there is the change, you
will not appreciate it. You will not value it with high regards.
In democracy, people are the
master and the politicians are servants. It appeared otherwise, in most of the
third world countries. People must recognize and implement this notion. If they
can do it effectively then their aspirations always will be fulfilled.
The problem starts for the people
when they ignored and relentlessly trusted the politicians by placing their
entire future to them. When this happened, then there will be abuse of power
and finally the voice of dissents will be crushed.
The agitation will starts and
spread throughout the country like in the case of French Revolution, American
Civil War and English Civil War.
In my viewpoint, this is
unnecessary. If you can go to this level, then why don’t exercise your rights as
the citizens of this nation appropriately to do the necessary change?
In Malaysian political scene, the
election result is a done deal. It is very unlikely to happen otherwise unless
the Perak Crisis repeated to the whole nation then, it is possible.
Therefore for now let’s hope that
the transformation plans of current PM are sincere and wholeheartedly. There is no room for any errors that he can
make now for the betterment of this nation.
