New Cabinet, New Direction

Today the new Malaysian cabinet is unveiled. This is regarded as the transformational cabinet to lead the nation to the new heights by the newly elected Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib.

The inclusion of President of Transparency International (Malaysia), chairman of HINDRAF and President and CEO of Maybank as the members of cabinet is a new milestone for Malaysian politics.

Further, the presence of members of parliament from East Malaysia as the cabinet ministers has paved way to the new direction where the role of Sabah and Sarawak MPs no longer second fiddle to West Malaysia MPs. In addition for the first time in the history of Malaysia a police officer from Sabah i.e. East Malaysia has been appointed as the Deputy Inspector General of Police.

This is a new direction.

The annexation of all members of society on governing of this country is vital to achieve the transformation plans advocating by Prime Minister.

A single race or religious people should not be sidelined for whatever reasons.

There is a new hope.

The injection of the new blood i.e. MPs who are at the age of 45 years and below into the cabinet will revamp and revitalize the nation for betterment of this country.

The biggest task of our PM will be the executing part of his transformation plans.

A person cannot do everything by himself. That is literally impossible to accomplish. His colleagues and subordinates must recognize the important of his plans and must successfully implement it in all level. Then his dreams and goals for this country will be achieved easily.

Otherwise he will have a mammoth task to attain his plans without the support of his trusted lieutenants.

It’s time to be refocused and re-engineered our country to rejuvenate to new heights. His choice of people in his first elected cabinet has reflected on this.

Of course it is not an easy task to undertake. To win back again the trust of dissents is not tranquil as well.

By implementing his plans successfully for people to triumph greatness of this nation, naturally the people of this country will be reconciled back without any fuss.

Kuala Lumpur.
