Marawi City - The Conquest of ISIS

Almost a month Marawi City is under siege. Where else in Raqqa and Mosul, ISIS is in near defeat. The foreign terrorist fighters (FTFs) who are hailed from Syria and Iraq are slowly relocating themselves in South East Asia, now. That’s because recently ISIS has declared this region as part of their ‘wilayah’ or province. In 2016, the jihadists killed 4 people and injured more than 20 people in Jakarta. Malaysia also encountered it first terrorist attack in Movida Club, Puchong where 8 people were wounded. In the same year in Davao, 14 people were killed by Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG) which associated with ISIS. This year in Jakarta 3 were killed and 11 were wounded by dual suicide attacks inspired by ISIS and the ongoing slaughtering by Maute Group which affiliated with ISIS killed more than 100 people and displaced thousands of people including women and children. Many analysts in past have predicted ISIS is going to launch a massive attack in this region. Unfortunately the g

London Mosque Attack - An Analysis

Yesterday, London is under siege again. Nowadays, terror attacks in London or in UK become norm. The current situation is very much similar with the era of IRA threat in UK. The common assumption is every terrorist attacks in UK or elsewhere will be executed by jihadists who got the inspiration from ISIS or Al Qaeda propaganda tools.  But this terror attack in particular is conducted by a white terrorist. His target was Muslims. Interestingly he used the similar methods (a vehicle i.e. a van as a weapon) used by the terrorists in London attacks last month. The van driver, Darren Osborne is killed one person and more than 10 people were injured. He used the van and run down the pedestrians. His motive is unknown until now. He probably wants to retaliate the attacks done by jihadists around the world in recent times especially in UK. He wants the Muslims to feel what he felt when innocent non-Muslims killed by these jihadists. The latest attack is happened outside of the M

An Analysis on the UK General Election

Latest Update: UK has a hung parliament now. Even though the Conservative has won the election but it need to strike out a partnership with other parties (presumably with DUP) but how its can last? Whether  Theresa May has the right to be continued as the Prime Minister of UK even though she fails to get mandate from people of UK? In my view, there will be another election in near future (my guess only) because the current set up of Parliament is unsustainable. If there is another snap election then I strongly believe Labour Party can win the election with landslide. 9/7/17                                                                                                                               Kuala Lumpur Today the United Kingdom voters need to choose the party which going govern the country in next five years. This is the most difficult and important election for British voters. In the space of three (3) months, UK was under siege by terrorists where more tha

United Kingdom under siege, again: The root causes of current terrorist attacks

An Introduction: The United Kingdom United Kingdom is under siege. Last Saturday in London, seven people were killed and more than 45 people were injured in two incidents which occurred on London Bridge and Borough Market. According to the security forces, three suspected terrorists were shot dead. These attacks are very much similar to the attack which happened in London last March. They used a van and knifes as the weapon for these attacks. This paradigm of such attacks is worrying because it’s become unpredictable for intelligence and security forces to prevent it. Therefore, now, the world become more dangerous to live on. A terrorist can launch any attacks anywhere and whenever he wishes. The timing and target of place where this terrorist attack happened in very much similar with Paris attacks last year. Last Month in Manchester, a lone suicide bomber, Salman Abedi killed more than 20 people including children and injured 110 others. The British-born terrorist whose paren
